Arkema Increases Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) Prices in Europe
November 30 , 2005
Arkema will increase prices of Hydrogen Peroxide in Europe, effective January 1st, 2006 or when individual contracts allow it. Price increases are necessary to offset the sharp rise in energy costs, which have reached unprecedented levels, as well as the increases in logistic and raw material costs.
These increases are also required to provide support for a safe and reliable supply to the Hydrogen Peroxide European market.
Arkema is among the leading H2O2 producers, with a capacity of 326 kt and plants in Asia, Europe and North America.
A global chemical player, Arkema consists of 3 coherent and balanced business segments: Vinyl Products, Industrial Chemicals, and Performance Products. Present in over 40 countries with 18,600 employees, Arkema achieves sales of 5.2 billion euros. With its 6 research centers in France, the United States and Japan, and internationally recognized brands, Arkema holds leadership positions in its principal markets.
