SARNEN -- Matti Paasila, Delegate of the Board of Directors and CEO of Sarna Polymer Holding Inc. will leave the company as of 31 January 2006.
Following the sale of the automotive business and in the context of the takeover of Sarna Polymer Holding Inc. by Sika AG, Matti Paasila will leave the company as of 31 January 2006. Prior to becoming Delegate of the Board of Directors and CEO in January 2003, Paasila had already been a member of the Board of Directors since 1998.
Fritz Studer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, wishes to thank Matti Paasila for his tremendous efforts on behalf of Sarna Polymer Holding Inc. during the past years. “Matti Paasila has made a great contribution to the successful sale of the automotive business and to refocusing Sarna on its core business Sarnafil. The Board of Directors and Executive Board wish him all the best for the future, both professionally and personally.?Until the planned delisting of Sarna Polymer Holding Inc., Paasila will be a member of the Board of Directors.
