Motivated by innovation and relying on the current equipment, SPC has succeeded in developing the polyester chip for industrial filament in the Polyester Division. Recently, the project passed the appraisal of the R&D Department of Sinopec and its overall technological level ranks top in the country.

The polyester chip for industrial filament is the raw material of filament for Polyester Industry widely used in such fields as automobile, architecture, irrigation works, transportation, transportation facilities and coated fabric based on its various product specification and fibre characteristics. By 2 different production flows of industrial filament in the market and in line with the special performance requirements of the polyester chip for industrial filament, the SPC Polyester Division, which boasts years of industrial filament experience, succeeded in developing 2 series of polyester chip products for industrial filament. The products include the fiber grade polyester chip (for industrial filament) and tackified polyester chip (lustrous) by way of adopting special additive, optimizing the production process of chips as raw material and adjusting the technics of solid phase polymerization equipment.
