PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Rohm and Haas Company's Consumer and Industrial Specialties Business announces price increases for selected catalysts and fine chemicals sold to customers in the European Region. Prices will increase 5 to 15 percent for selected products effective January 1, 2006 or as contracts permit. These products include Stannous Octoate, METATIN™ Catalysts, METALINK™ and CYCLOXIM™ products and fine chemicals.

The increases are required to offset increases in raw materials, energy and freight costs.
