BELTSVILLE, MD -- Rockwood Pigments announces a worldwide price increase of up to $0.08 per lb (€0.13 per kg) on iron oxide pigments, with additional increases on zinc-based products. This increase is necessitated to recover ongoing escalation in raw materials, energy and transportation and to enable Rockwood Pigments to continue to invest in facilities, innovation and service as expected by its customer base. The increase will be effective January 1, 2007.
