NOVA Innovene Announces Price Increase of 50 Euro for January
Dec 22, 2006
FRIBOURG -- NOVA Innovene announced a price increase of 50 Euro/mt for all Polystyrene products effective from January 1st, 2007.
NOVA Innovene has closed the Polystyrene order book for December 06, in light of strong demand, low stocks and tight availablilty of products supplied from the four production sites of its portfolio, following the Carrington closure.
NOVA Innovene is increasing the Polystyrene price as it believes strongly that market fundamentals justify an increased "price spread" between Styrene and Polystyrene, based on roll-over styrene contract price.
The likely improved margin will partially cover the cost increases of energy, transports and additives of last year.
