Corma Opens Full-service Facility in Shanghai, China

Corma Inc, which designs and manufactures corrugated plastic pipe production systems, said it has established a full-service facility in Shanghai, China.
It said the new 20,000 square foot facility will offer a complete range of Corma products and include a sales office, customer and technical service, a product assembly operation, and a spare parts depot.
The facility started to operate late last year and filled its first order for a corrugator system for the manufacture of automotive wire harness in February 2006. A second system will ship in March, with a third larger system capable of producing pipes of up to 1,200mm in May 2006.
"For the foreseeable future, all production from Corma Shanghai will be destined exclusively for China as we target maximum growth and market penetration in that country," said Stefan Lupke, Executive Vice President of Corma Inc.
