March 21, 2006
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC -- Reichhold announced a price increase of 70 ˆ (Euro) per metric ton (0.07ˆ/Kg) on all of its products sold to the composites industry in the EMEA region (Europe / Middle East / Africa). This increase is effective for all orders shipped on or after April 18, 2006.
"Steady increases in key raw materials combined with the continued rise in energy, packaging and freight costs, makes this price adjustment for polyester resins, vinyl ester resins, gel coats and ancillary products unavoidable," explained Reichhold's EMEA Vice President of Sales Alberto Piccinotti.
"Reichhold works to continuously improve the products and services we provide to the composites industry," Piccinotti continued, "and we sincerely appreciate our customers' understanding and support at a time when the entire industry is impacted by the rising costs of raw materials."
