Boy Machines, Inc., the Exton, PA-based supplier of injection molding machines with clamping forces up to 100 U.S. tons, will introduce its BOY 55VV vertical injection molding machine at NPE 2006 (Booth 2660, South Hall).
Designed with both a vertical clamp and vertical injection unit, the new BOY 55VV expands the line of BOY insert molding machines widely used for the encapsulation of insert parts. The BOY 55VV, with a clamping force of 60 U.S. tons, is guided precisely by four generously spaced tie bars (14.18" x 13.19"). Shot weights up to 5.57 ounces are achievable.
Other important features include a fixed lower platen, a low table height of only 40", and overall length of only 10 feet, and a floor space requirement of just 37.5 square feet.
The design of the BOY 55VV allows peripheral equipment to be mounted directly to the machine base, so it is ideally suited for automation. The BOY 55VV can be equipped with both the Procan CT and Procan MD controls.
BOY Machines, Inc. is the exclusive U.S. importer of BOY injection molding machines, which are recognized worldwide for their unsurpassed quality and service record. The company has been selling and servicing these machines in North America for over 30 years.
