Basell to Increase Advanced Polyolefins Prices in Europe

Basell announced that it will increase prices by ˆ 80 per tonne for its range of advanced polyolefins sourced from Europe, effective 1st April.
"We need to compensate for raw material costs which have reached record high levels together with continued escalation in energy and transportation costs" said Martyn Tickner, senior vice president for Basell's Advanced Polyolefins Business.
