MANNHEIM -- The range of polyurethane catalysts in the Polyurethane/Plastics division of Rhein Chemie GmbH, Mannheim, will be managed under the new name of Addocat™. The former products Desmorapid® and RC-PUR® activators are being standardized by the new name but will retain their customary classification.

One name instead of two - to guarantee a high degree of recognition and simplify the search for users. No changes have been made to the polyurethane catalysts themselves; they still have their customary properties.

High-quality polyurethane catalysts such as Addocat™ based on tertiary amines and organo-metallic compounds are used as catalysts for the production of flexible and rigid foams in the construction and automotive industry, for furniture and mattresses as well as for coatings and adhesives.

Rhein Chemie is a chemicals company which has had a successful track record in customized additives and service products stretching back over 100 years. The approximately 970-strong workforce produces and sells products for various sectors of the rubber, lubricant, plastics, and polyurethane industries worldwide.
