Eastman Increases Specialty Resin Intermediates Prices on October 1

KINGSPORT, Tenn.-- Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Oct. 1, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.
Eastman CHDM Glycol: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.20 /lb ($US 0.44/kg, ˆ 0.34/kg) globally.
Eastman 1,4 CHDA-HP: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.20 /lb ($US 0.44/kg, ˆ 0.34/kg) globally.
Eastman DMCD: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.20 /lb ($US 0.44/kg, ˆ 0.34/kg) globally.
Eastman TMPD Glycol: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.12 /lb ($US 0.26/kg, ˆ 0.21/kg) globally.
Eastman HPHP Glycol: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.10 /lb ($US 0.22/kg, ˆ 0.17/kg) globally.
Eastman AAEM: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.12 /lb ($US 0.26/kg, ˆ 0.21/kg) globally.
