Eliokem Announces Price Increase for its Pliocord Latices Effective October 15th, 2006
Sep 22, 2006
VILLEJUST -- Eliokem announces a price increase of up to 10% for its styrene/butadiene based latices such as Pliocord VP and Pliocord SB, ranges used in the treatment of reinforcement fibers for tyres and the industrial rubber products. The increase is effective October 15th and where contracts allow.
This decision is driven by the ongoing escalation in raw material prices, energy, transportation and compliance costs which have contributed to a general deterioration in profitability that can no longer be absorbed.
